There’s nothing like sharing your happiness with some of your closest friends and having a big diamond ring to show just how happy you are.

Eva Longoria could not help but celebrate her engagement news with her “Desperate Housewives” co-stars immediately after her proposal. The Latina star admits she was anxious to share her happiness with the women of Wysteria Lane as soon as she got on set.

Hollywood.com reports that Eva told Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman the wonderful news, although there was no mention of calling up Teri Hatcher as well. Maybe deep down inside the bride-to-be feels bitter about the fact that Teri is dating her ex? Who knows.

In any case, Eva says she was extremely excited to arrive on set after the proposal and show off the big rock on her finger. Her fiancй Tony was also with her to celebrate with the ladies.

She explained, “Marcia (Cross) and Felicity (Huffman) and I are really, really close. Telling them was really exciting! Marcia came into my trailer and Tony was with me. She was like, ‘Tony, what are you doing here?’ And then she looks at my hand and goes ‘Aaaaah!’ She let out the biggest scream. We were laughing so hard.”

Felicity wasn’t on set that day, but after Marcia urged her to call Eva, she began to think something might be wrong.

Felicity recalled, “I said, ‘Is something wrong? Is she crying? What’s the matter?’ So I called going, ‘Eva, are you okay, honey?’ And she went, ‘I’m engaaaaged!’

Teri Hatcher refused to film her Desperate Housewives scenes until she could wear her favourite pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.

Teri Hatcher allegedly threw a diva-like tantrum on the show’s crew and stylists when she was told a specific pair of the designer sandals were not available for her to wear.

And despite having 37 different pairs to choose from, Teri Hatcher didn’t like any of the footwear on offer and demanded a staff member to run to her home to get her the style she wanted.

“The stylist had 37 pairs of shoes but none were right. Teri insisted on a specific pair and when the store the company uses could not provide them Teri got a runner to collect a similar pair from her home,” The Post Chronicle quoted a source, as telling Britain’s Mail On Sunday newspaper.

Meanwhile, Teri Hatcher has signed a deal to share her lifestyle solutions with readers of British women’s magazine Glamour.

The 42-year-old will offer words of wisdom to readers with relationship problems in the glossy publication’s February (07) issue.

Hatcher established herself as a lifestyle guru when she published her successful self help guide “Burnt Toast: And Other Philosophies of Life.”

Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan was photographed leaving The Ivy restaurant, where Teri Hatcher had her birthday lunch. Nicollette ran with her dessert in her hand to her car, whilst laughing along the way.

Teri Hatcher took her daughter Emerson Rose to Pinkberry for some ice cream. Emerson is such a pretty girl!
