People Magazine named Eva Longoria one of the world’s most beautiful women without make-up.

“I get my hair and makeup done at work. After a while you get tired of being touched. When you do it all the time, it’s refreshing when you don’t do it,” admits the Desperate Housewives star, 32. “Tony says he loves the way I look when I wake up in the morning, which is the reason why I’m marrying him.”

Clearly still floating on air after welcoming twins Eden and Savannah two months ago, glamorous new mum Marcia Cross takes a stroll in Santa Monica, California. The happy family scene was captured at the weekend as the Desperate Housewife took her girls out for a breath of fresh air.

Marcia seemed to be making light work of motherhood with some help from her favourite guy, husband Tom Mahoney. The couple – who married just under a year ago after meeting in a flower shop – tenderly fussed over their daughters, whom they were carrying in similar papooses, shielded from the sun with blankets.

Two weeks ago Marcia talked of her joy at joining the mummy “club” at the relatively late age of 44 thanks to a course of IVF. “I’m in heaven right now,” she said.

Happily engaged to basketball star Tony Parker, Eva Longoria doesn’t mind admitting that she was once attracted to Ricky Martin.

‘When he was 13 he starred in a TV show in America and I thought he was gorgeous,’ she says. ‘I thought I was completely in with a chance and fantasised every minute of the day about marrying him and being with him forever.’

Eva, 32, obviously likes tall, dark and handsome men (fiancé Tony is 6ft 3in to her 5ft 3in) but, if she were still single, she says there’s no type of guy she wouldn’t date.

‘A girl should never say never,’ she tells Live magazine. ‘All men have their appeal. Sex appeal has nothing to do with how you look. It comes from so many things – confidence, humour, intellect, maturity; sometimes even a bit of goofiness is nice.’

Teri Hatcher’s book Burnt Toast is to be turned into a US TV drama.

The actress, 42, who plays Susan Mayer in the hit show, will executive produce the one-off programme about the trials and tribulations of a forty-something mum raising a daughter.

It’s loosely based on her experiences as a mum to daughter Emerson Rose, 9.

Eva Longoria once ran out on a man during a blind date because he was “a little bit odd” and “deserved it”. The DH star banned her friends from setting her up with men after the scare. She says, “He was rude, aggressive, presumptuous, scary, and to be honest he was a little bit odd. I kept thinking ‘Who would imagine me with this guy?’ And in the end I went to the bathroom and never came back. He deserved it.”

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has revealed that she is a big fan of British singer Lily Allen.

The actress admitted that she had never heard of Smile singer Lily until a friend played one of the 21-year-old’s songs to her.

“I love her to death. She was on YouTube and my friend was like, ‘You’ve got to hear this song’, and it was the cutest little song and she was so cute, but nobody knows her here,” Eva explained.

Longoria added that she has no plans to quit Desperate Housewives because she thinks it would be foolish to leave such a successful show.

“I definitely want to do more films but I’m never leaving Desperate Housewives,” she said. “You never leave a hit show – that’s just the rule.”

Marcia Cross has revealed she was terrified when she first found out she was pregnant with twins.

Twin girls Eden and Savannah were born at an LA-area hospital in February after the Desperate Housewives star and her husband Tom Mahoney underwent fertility treatment shortly after their wedding last year.

Speaking in an interview with Hello magazine, Marcia said recently that she was shocked – and not in a good way – when her doctor told her that she was having two babies: “I was absolutely terrified! Now if course, it’s just like I won the lottery because I have two daughters and it’s really just fantastic.”

But she was quick to point out that not all older mums using IVF will be as lucky as her: “Many women delay motherhood these days. I feel very fortunate to have become a mother in my 40s.”

“That’s why I don’t want to put out any fantasy that you can just do that forever and then just pop out twins.”

Eva Longoria has vowed to help Jesse Metcalfe “100 per cent” when he leaves rehab.

The actress – who enjoyed an on-screen romance with Jesse’s character in hit US TV show ‘Desperate Housewives’ – has pledged to support her young co-star who is being treated for alcoholism at Malibu’s Promises centre.

Eva told Britain’s Heat magazine: “Jesse is very sensible and I think that’s why he’s in rehab – because he’s generally a very put-together, steady guy and he’s going to take care of it and help himself. And I’m going to help him 100 per cent.”
