Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria stepped out of Wisteria Lane and onto the beach to test her sporting prowess at a celebrity volleyball event to raise money for charity.

Longoria turned out to be a valuable player, giving her team pep talks throughout the game and even launching herself across the sand to get her hands on the ball.

But onlookers got a little more than they bargained for, with her beach briefs proving to be, well, a little too brief.

Teri Hatcher prefers bathing in wine rather than drinking it!

Hatcher confesses she hates being wasteful and was advised by a pharmacist to not throw wine away but to pour it in bathwater, reports contactmusic.com. She has since then started enjoying bathing in wine.

She said: ‘When you’re alone you open a bottle of wine and then it’s not really good after four or five days. This make-up chemist that I know was talking about all the good properties in wine - antioxidants and stuff, exfoliating qualities - and she said, `Never throw it out, dump it in your bath’.

Felicity Huffman spent Mother’s Day in bed - after becoming a real-life desperate wife. The actress told America she’d spent the Mother’s Day weekend in bed with husband William H. Macy during an appearance on The Tonight Show last night. She explained, “My husband had been away for two and half months, (filming) in South Africa, so we actually met up in New York because I had to go to New York to do publicity for Desperate Housewives. “So I got to see the man responsible for me being a mother on Mother’s Day.”

And when show host Jay Leno asked if the day was all about sex, Huffman blurted out, “That’s how we spent the weekend,” before blushing, and adding, “Why I’m saying that on camera I have no idea and I’m sorry.”

Those who cannot buy such expensive gifts can go for a few cheaper options like Tiffany sterling silver cocktail sticks, which are for 100 dollars.

Eva Longoria’s wedding plans have reportedly become a nightmare.

The Desperate Housewives actress - who is set to marry basketball star Tony Parker on July 7 - keeps changing her mind about details for her big day, infuriating organizers.

A source said: “The wedding is still very much on, but Eva is creating a lot of work for everyone.

“She changed the flowers three times and her dress has been altered a couple of times.

“Then there’s the guest list, which is constantly under revision. I think everyone involved will be glad when Eva finally ties the knot.”

Earlier this month, the 32-year-old star flew to Paris to choose a church for the ceremony.

Eva visited the clerical staff at St. Germain L’Auxerrois - which is known as the ‘Parish of Kings’ because of its historic affiliation and its position next to the Louvre Museum.

Eva Longoria is making sure her French wedding in July features a sweet treat from California - the cake will be flown in for the nuptials. Longoria and her fiancé, basketball player Tony Parker, have reportedly commissioned celebrity dessert creator Sam Godfrey to design the perfect wedding cake for the reception.

And the couple are even paying for someone from Godfrey’s company Perfect Endings to accompany the cake on a plane and hand deliver it in time for the big day, according to celebrity blogger Marc Malkin.
