Joy Lauren plays Danielle Van De Kamp

Joy Lauren was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She first realized that she wanted to be an actress at age seven and began performing at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta. At age eleven she moved out to Los Angeles with her mother, Nan Jorgensen, to pursue her love of acting.

Joy has a passion for dance and for horseback riding. When she was younger, she performed with the Atlanta Dance Company. She hopes to have her American Saddlebred horse, Thomas, ready for shows next year.

Graduating high school at the age of fourteen, Joy is continuing her studies in preparation for college.
