Marcia Cross emerged from Ken Paves’ LA salon with a brunette bob over the weekend. While it’s just a wig and very different from her normal hair, it doesn’t look that bad!

Teri Hatcher had a lucky escape when she came face to face with a mountain lion which has been terrifying residents in the Hollywood Hills in recent weeks.

Teri was out jogging early one morning last week in the hills by her Los Angeles home, when she was aware something or somebody was behind her. She says, “Some leaves just blew something and I turned and looked… and it was a mountain lion. I kept jogging and this path, you go down and you have to turn round and come back… so I’m thinking, `Well now the mountain lion is up and angry,’ and I’m completely by myself up there.”

The sudden exit of the neighborhood’s blond troublemaker Edie Britt has fans wondering how this plot twist will affect Desperate Housewives, and whether Nicollette Sheridan, who has played Edie during its four seasons, will be back.

For weeks, rumors swirled that Sheridan was out of the show. Both ABC and Sheridan’s publicist, Nicole Perna, have been tightlipped in response to inquiries about her imminent departure.

But creator and executive producer Marc Cherry was slightly more forthcoming. Yes, Edie’s gone, he told The Associated Press on Friday. Then he added: “She won’t be back for a few years.”

Dana Delany has been doing a little dishing about what it’s like to be on the hit show – And she also talks about the season finale.

OK! Magazine caught up with ther after the Dancing With The Stars taping on Tuesday.

Dana, who plays Katherine on the show, told OK! the season finale will not disappoint those drama lovers. “All of my secrets are revealed. There’s a big twist at the end.

“There will be several characters not returning. There’s a big death in the episode, so it’s very dramatic.”

And what do the ladies do when their not conniving around Wisteria Lane?

Marcia Cross is trying to scare people against staying out of the sun as the spokeswoman for awareness group Skin Cancer Takes Friends.

Marcia, who is fair-skinned, teamed up with the organization last year and now spends much of her time away from Wisteria Lane warning about the dangers of tanning on unprotected skin and urging sun worshippers to get their skin checked regularly.

Eva Longoria’s suitcase may be packed with the most gorgeous and fashionable outfits but she has revealed she has nothing to do with the packing.

“My bag is packed when I come because my stylist thinks about every event we have, every interview, every red carpet __ everything is already planned and dresses are fitted, and I just put on what somebody gives me,” Eva, 33, told Associated Press Television.

We don’t see this little guy very often — Zane Huett, 10, who plays Lynette’s son Parker, attended Starlight Starbright’s annual “A Stellar Night” gala this past weekend. He is pictured above, looking very cute, with CNN anchor Nicole Lapin.

Eva Longoria Parker has said that wearing Victoria Beckham’s jeans made her look pregnant.

Eva said that she loved Victoria’s trousers/pants, but revealed that they were so tight her “gut” was left bursting out of the top.

She told Hollywood Scoop: “Victoria gave me a couple of pairs [of jeans] and I love them. They were so tight, my gut was hanging over the top before dinner.

“Then, we came out of the restaurant and I was totally bloated. And now, apparently I have a baby bump!”

Teri Hatcher has been baking tasty treats for her co-star Felicity Huffman on the set of Desperate Housewives. The 43-year-old star recalls how Huffman persuaded her to bake a cake – but cheekily took the credit it for it after presenting it to her husband, actor William H. Macy.

She says, “I made Felicity a pie. For some reason, she had to have a pie. And I was like, ‘I’ll make it.’

“She e-mailed me afterwards and said, ‘Bill loved it. I didn’t’ tell him who made it – I took credit, and the brownie points are going to last me a year. Thank you very much.’
