Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is furious about reports Heather Mills will appear in the TV show and plans to confront creator Marc Cherry.

Cherry recently revealed he’d love to audition the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney for a spot in the ABC series, saying, “If Heather Mills can act I’d be interested. It would be fascinating.”

But regular Longoria was livid when asked if Mills would appear in the next season, saying, “Oh God no. Not at all. That’s crazy, it would be completely crazy.

“If she did have a part I would be offended.”

Eva Longoria took advantage of a private tour of the Harrods sale to spend £35,000 in 90 minutes in the store’s famous winter sale.

The Desperate Housewives star bought designer shoes, bags and coats during her shopping spree on Wednesday night before opening the sale to the public on Thursday morning.

Perhaps she was spoiling herself to make up for the lack of gifts she had to open on Christmas morning - she told the Mirror: “This year Tony and I decided we weren’t going to buy each other presents. We’re building our house and we’ve got the wedding to plan.”

“We had a lovely French/Mexican theme going on for Christmas dinner, so there was a mixture on fois gras and tamales, it was a really nice day.”

A friend of U.S. actress Eva Longoria has claimed that the “Desperate Housewives” star is denying her fiancee, NBA star Tony Parker, a bachelor party.

The unidentified friend of Longoria confided to In Touch Weekly that the 31-year-old actress has forbid the San Antonio Spurs star the chance to enjoy a bachelor party before their upcoming wedding.

“Eva thinks letting men have bachelor parties is just asking for trouble,” the friend claimed.

The celebrity couple revealed their engagement on Nov. 30, 2006, prompting friends and teammates of the 24-year-old basketball player to begin plans for an extravagant bachelor party.

Eva Longoria may not be a housewife, but she is desperate for her France-raised fiancé Tony Parker to improve her French skills.

“He’s terrible. He always wants to speak English,” Longoria, 31, told PEOPLE Thursday while in London to open the annual Harrods Winter Sale. “I try to remind him but he always forgets and says it’s easier and faster to speak English, but I want to understand.”

She decided to master French the hard way – in a classroom. “I couldn’t speak French before Tony. All I knew how to say was, ‘My name is Eva.’ I went to a Berlitz French school this summer, doing about five hours a day.”

And how is her French now? “Great!”

A package-laden Eva Longoria makes the rounds in West Hollywood on Wednesday. There must be a present for fiancé Tony Parker in there!
