Eva Longoria and Tony Parker jetted off for a romantic honeymoon on the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos.

But unlike their lavish wedding, which capped off a week of festivities, the newlyweds have been keeping a very low profile and enjoying quiet time with each other on their honeymoon, sources tell People magazine.

Since arriving at their Caribbean resort at the beginning of the week, Longoria and Parker have been spotted dining over long intimate candlelit dinners at the islands’ exclusive restaurants.

During the days, the couple have been relaxing under the shade of an umbrella at the beach, “cozying up to each other,” according to a resort guest.

The most spirited activity for the two thus far? A game of Ping-Pong and an afternoon of Yahtzee – played in the shade, of course.

The couple are due to return to Los Angeles on Sunday, with Longoria expected to report back on the set of Desperate Housewives to begin filming the fourth season of the ABC hit series on Monday.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Parker — the newlyweds landed at LAX on July 9th, after their romantic European wedding extravaganza, but quickly boarded a private jet headed for a secret tropical location.

Prior to the wedding Eva said in interviews that she had to go back to the states the day after the wedding to begin filming DH on July 9th…perhaps they gave her some time off.

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry — a self-professed musical theatre fan — may bring his love to his current ABC gig with a musical episode.

The producer-creator of the ABC dramedy told Variety of his consideration of turning Wisteria Lane into the Great White Way.

Of his bevy of beauties — Teri Hatcher, Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria — only Hatcher has previously appeared on stage in a musical, the Cabaret national tour. Sheridan sang with her beau Michael Bolton on Bolton’s latest album. Huffman is a Broadway and Off-Broadway veteran — traditionally in non-musical fare, but sang in a play with music, The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite.

Cherry has previously asserted that he plans to head directly for the theatre once his television run with the series has completed. The former “The Golden Girls” writer has also nodded at musical theatre in the titles of his “Housewives” episodes, a great number of which reference shows or songs: “Pretty Little Picture,” “Anything You Can Do,” “The Ladies Who Lunch,” “Children Will Listen,” “Sunday in the Park with George,” “No One Is Alone,” “Not While I’m Around,” and “Into the Woods,” among others.

Eva Longoria’s female friends made out like French bandits at her Parisian wedding to San Antonio Spur Tony Parker yesterday.

Rather than a small token of her affection or a tacky tableside gift, Longoria gifted each of her female guests with a Van Cleef and Arpels Sweet Alhambra bracelet.

The 18k gold bracelets feature miniature mother-of-pearl clover charms, and won’t even be available in the United States until October, but Eva was “desperate” to make sure that her nearest and dearest had theirs first.

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker made it legal at Paris’s city hall on Friday, with a big church wedding and lavish reception still to come.

The basketball star, 25, and the actress, 32, became man and wife at a civil ceremony – as required by French law – at the Mairie (city hall for the 4th Arrondissement) in Place Baudoyer, not far from Notre Dame.

“They are married. They were married here by the Mayor of Paris, Monsieur Bertrand Delanoë,” a spokesperson for the 4th Arrondisement district confirms.

Delanoë told PEOPLE of the couple he’d just married, “Their international reputations cannot escape me – but for me they are just Eva and Tony – two young people, very appealing, who love each other and who are at a very important moment in their life.”

Just before 4:30 p.m. Paris time, wedding guests filtered out of the building and entered limousines. A large, white floral bouquet was placed in the rear of the stretch limo. The crowd, which had swelled to about 1,000, cheered loudly.

Only a few friends and family members attended the low-key ceremony, pals confirm to PEOPLE.

Earlier, Parker hosted a lunch for friends, who were ferried to the restaurant in three white stretch limos – including one Hummer – before returning to his hotel to dress for the ceremony.

Longoria and her family, meanwhile, visited the Chanel atelier for a final fitting. Clutching gift bags from the design house and wearing the Chanel ribbons and rosettes around their wrists, the group was then ferried to city hall, where hundreds of fans and dozens of reporters and photographers waited outside.

The bride’s guests arrived in a Hummer with California plates around 2:45 p.m. Exactly four minutes later, Longoria stepped out of one of the other limos wearing a rose Empire-waist mini dress. She waved to cheering fans on her way into the building. The groom appeared just before 3, greeting officials amid a chorus of cheers and calls of “To-nee!”

With the civil service complete, the newlyweds will cement their union with a ceremony at the Church of Saint Germain l’Auxerriois on Saturday.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Eva and Tony hosted a pre-wedding party yesterday evening, on a boat along the Seine river in Paris. Celebrity guests included DH co-star Teri Hatcher (below).

Eva Longoria’s big weekend is coming up! Yesterday afternoon Eva decided to do a bit of shopping at Chanel in Paris. Her and Tony are actually getting married today, but the ceremony will take place tomorrow. I can’t wait for the wedding photos!

Eva and Tony spent yesterday afternoon at Disneyland in Paris. The couple braved the Rockin’ Rollercoaster, squealing in unison through the high-speed drops.

Later, the loved up couple strolled around the fun park arm in arm and posed for photographs with fans, as well as Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
